Comments about Educational Insights RiddleCube™ the Game:

We have used this game in my 2nd grade classroom and my students go crazy for it! They love it because it's hands-on, is challenging, yet fun, and is something new and different. The pieces are durable and work for even the smallest hands. I even tried out this game at home and it was a big hit with adults in my household. Your students won't be disappointed with this game! our family had a great time challenging each other and trying to create the shapes. It has been fun to sit together playing this, watching each other try and create the shapes, and laughing a lot. great family activity. much better for our 2nd grader than our 1st grader, but still fun. sometimes one or two of us play, or the whole family plays together. definitely a fun and educational game that makes you think!!

Comments about Educational Insights RiddleCube™ the Game:

My kids, age 12 and 10 had a lot of fun playing this game. Kept them laughing and having fun together vs. fighting with each other - a bonus! The cards were challenging and kept them engaged. Great for practicing spacial relations. While most games favor a player with age or experience, this one gives everyone a fair shot. My kids were beating me most of the time! Another nice thing about it is that this isn't a game where you have to strictly follow the rules. You can make up your own rules, which allows kids to be creative, while allowing them to practice social and leadership skills in developing the rules and getting them adopted by the other players. You can play it by yourself or with other people, though it was more fun when my kids played it together. It's also easy to transport - we will surely take this on our next vacation.

Comments about Educational Insights RiddleCube™ the Game:

I LOVE this game. It is easy to use, requires almost no set up, is fun, educational, and imaginative. We can not put it down. You do not need to know how to read to play this game so it is fun for everyone. There are certainly some shapes that are harder than others and it better suited for kids aged 6 and older, but even really little ones will have fun bending the sticks and making up their own shapes. It is a great game for friends both young and old. It can be packed up into a Baggie and is great for the car. I almost wish there was a travel case. Beware the game is addictive!

Comments about Educational Insights RiddleCube™ the Game:

What a fun challenge! An entertaining and interactive spatial reasoning game that is great for middle schoolers on up through adults. The clues range from easy to more difficult, and my family and I did struggle with more than a few! My four and seven year olds enjoy playing with the Riddlecubes and clue cards just to see if they can make the shapes or just using their imagination. My 12 year old nephew enjoyed the challenges and beating the adults in solving the puzzles. It comes in a durable, compact box that is easy to take on the road. The Riddlecubes themselves seem to be made of high quality materials able to withstand the stretching, pulling, and twisting this game requires. As an educator, I could see having this game available to my middle-school and high school students for free time fun. This game would even be an amusing "bar puzzle" for adult players!

Comments about Educational Insights RiddleCube™ the Game:

I've found my new go-to birthday gift! RiddleCube is a great game, the kind you can easily pick up for a few minutes or an hour, on your own or with a group, whether you want to keep score or just do a few rounds for fun. My 9-year-old was immediately attracted to its tactile nature, and my 4-year-old loved inventing her own versions of the shapes we were attempting. We moved quickly through the easy cards, and had a lot of fun trying to convince each other that our designs fit the written criteria for the more difficult cards! It was good to emphasize that the strings are considered "invisible" for some designs, or they would have been frustrating. We didn't want to put the riddle cubes down between rounds; when I played with friends, we ended up fiddling with them while we chatted - several of us found it quite therapeutic! I think we'll be donating this game to my son's class - his teacher will like the spatial reasoning it promotes, and his friends will enjoy competing and manipulating these addictive little cubes! Lastly, I like that you included the inventor, Howard Fleischer, on the packaging - good job, Educational Insights!

Comments about Educational Insights RiddleCube™ the Game:

The RiddleCube is an awesome game. You manipulate sticks that are attached together with a stretchy cord to replicate either the picture or words on the game cards. There's also a minute sand time to put a little bit of time pressure (For most of the cards, we didn't need it), but it's also helpful when you get stumped, to move on. My 8 year old daughter loved learning new shapes very quickly. She was faster than I was on the easier (light blue) cards. The darker blue cards were harder, but doable. There are two types of cards to choose from: word cards (you use your imagination more) and picture cards (have to create the shape on the card), which mixes up the game a little bit more. There are a lot more darker blue cards than light blue cards. You could also just use the riddle cubes to fiddle around with on your own. It's a compact game that doesn't take up too much space. You need to keep the box that it comes in so that it hide the pictures/words when you're playing, as the cards are double sided.
Pros- easy to understand and play without reading too many directions. Short playing time for moments when you have a little bit of time, but not enough for a longer board game.
Cons- I personally wanted an answer sheet, but it's not necessary. The cord is a bit tight to get some of the shapes perfectly, but it didn't really matter as you can understand what the other person is trying to do.
