The Big Idea
Kids power up their imaginations and build coordination and creative thinking skills as they drill chunky, child-sized components into a sturdy activity board. Children love following the colorful activity cards to create pictures and patterns—from trains and boats to flowers and fish. Young builders can drill their very own designs! Just snap any one of the drill bits into the power drill or the screwdriver handle, grab a handful of bolts, and turn on the learning fun!

My 3-yr-old son and 4 1/2-yr-old daughter LOVE this product...and so do I. True...it only comes with 1 drill. But it also includes a wrench and a screwdriver so 3 kids can share and work together. Great for building creativity, concentration, and fine motor skills. Going to put this on top of my list of gifts to buy for my kids' friends.

Comments about Educational Insights Design & Drill® Activity Center:

My kids love this and fought over their cousin's - We got it as a gift from their grandmother. Once we got it home and got it opened though, we found that the screw to open the bottom of the drill did not re-screw into the threads with batteries in it. So now we have the bottom of the gun taped shut and we have to retape it every couple of hours. It's a huge pain but the kids like it in general.

My 3.5 year old, very active, can't sit still for five minute twins love this product. Out of all of the christmas gifts they prefer this toy. The drill stopped working after a short time, so I called costumer service and they replaced it with no hassle right away. Highly recommend it.

Used this once and stored it without batteries in it, like the instructions say, for 4 weeks. Took it out, put batteries back in it and nothing happens. I tried brand new batteries and still nothing. Its useless. Very unhappy parent. This seems to happen ofter after reading the other reviews. FIX THIS PRODUCT.

Comments about Educational Insights Design & Drill® Activity Center:

As an Activity Director that works with seniors in a memory care unit, this is a great idea. However, I would like to propose that a similar product be made that is more appropriate for seniors. I see this product in many of the nursing home supply catalogs for activities. However, I would LOVE to see a brown plastic board (resembling a piece of wood) and gray screws (that resemble actual bolts). This gives a more realistic look for senior adults.

My 4 year old son has this item as well and he loves it. It works great to strengthen find motor, color recognition, pattern recognition and so many more teaching moments for kids.

This has been a great toy for my 5 children and now I have it in my preschool classroom. Heavily used and still in great condition. I visited this site to check if this was still sold! I want another for my classroom along with an extra drill.

I gave this as a gift for a 2 year old . It is a year later and he and his 7 year old brother still play with it. Held up very well. Mom wishes there was a bag with it to store the bolts. Purchasing another set for another grandson.
