Q: How do I place an order?
A: There are three easy ways to order:
1. Online: Upon visiting our website, order directly from any product page by selecting the quantity desired and by clicking on the Add to Cart button. When you've selected all of your favorite items, you can checkout on our safe and secure server.
2. Phone: Our talented, diligent Educational Insights customer service representatives are available to assist you Monday through Friday between 8:30 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. CST. To speak one-on-one to a representative or to request an order form be sent to you please call us at 1-800-995-4436. International customers may call 1-888-800-7893 for assistance.
3. Fax: Fax orders can be placed at 888.892.8731. Print out your "Shopping Cart" from EducationalInsights.com or the enclosed order form in your Educational Insights catalog.
Q: Can I place a tax exempt order?
We cannot process tax exempt orders online at this time. Should you wish to place a tax exempt order, please fax your official purchase order and tax exempt form to 1-888-892-8731. You may also print out your "Shopping Cart" from EducationalInsights.com and send along with your official purchase order and tax exempt form. We make every effort to process all orders in a timely manner but please be advised there will be a delay in processing any order faxed without a tax exempt form. As required by law, in order to qualify for Sales Tax Exemption, customers must place their order in the name of the tax exempt organization. Orders placed in an individual's name or without a tax exempt form will be charged tax.
Q. When will my order ship, and where can I check its status?
A. In-stock items shipped via STANDARD FedEx will generally ship within 1-2 business days of order placement. NEXT DAY and 2-DAY FedEx shipped orders placed before 11 a.m. CST on business days will generally ship the next business day. NEXT DAY and 2-DAY FedEx orders placed on weekends ship the following Tuesday. Orders shipped outside the U.S., including U.S. military bases, require special processing that may add several days to the expected shipping date.
Using your Educational Insights Order Number you receive in your e-mail order confirmation, you can track your order online. Please note that orders generally take 2-3 business days to show in our tracking system. Just because your order cannot be tracked online does not mean it hasn't shipped.
Q. How much will it cost to ship my order?
A. Use our shipping table to obtain details on shipping and handling charges. Please remember that the charges outlined on the table apply only to orders shipped within the United States. Shipping and handling charges for orders shipped outside the U.S. are calculated on an individual order details. Educational Insights is not able to ship to PO Boxes.
Q. Will I be charged Sales Tax?
A. Sales tax is applied for the following states (USA only):
AL, AR*, AZ, CA, CO*, CT*, DC*, FL*, GA*, IA, ID, IL, IN*, KS*, KY*, MA*, MD, ME, MI*, MN, MO*, NC*, ND*, NE*, NJ, NM*, NV*, NY*, OH, PA*, RI*, SC*, SD*, TN*, TX*, VA, VT, WA*, WI* and WV*.
States with an asterisk charge tax on shipping in addition to merchandise. State sales tax subject to change.
Q. How can I tell if an item is on backorder, and when will it ship?
A. Backorder status shows right above a product's name in the shopping cart ONLY if the item is on backorder. Otherwise, there is no status listed. The status displays in red and shows the expected shipping date. Please note that backorder status is not real-time. Many times backordered items will ship even before the expected ship date. Backordered items you choose to order will be confirmed via a letter sent by e-mail or U.S. mail. This letter will provide specific detail regarding your backordered item(s).
Q. Can my order be shipped to a United States military base?
A. Educational Insights is able to ship to U.S. military bases. However, such orders are shipped via U.S. mail, not FedEx. Shipping and handling charges are based on the dollar amount of the order the same as Standard shipped UPS orders. Please refer to our shipping table for specific pricing. It is important that consumers shipping orders to U.S. military bases include as much detail as possible as to the specific APO/FPO shipping address involved. Be advised that orders shipped to military bases require special processing and will take longer to both ship and be received.
Q. Does Educational Insights ship to destinations outside the United States?
A. Educational Insights only ships to United States, Canada Puerto Rico. Please visit Learning Resources UK for shipment to other countries.
Q: How long will it take to receive an order shipping to Canada?
A: Most orders take approximately 15 to 30 business days to arrive once the order has been successfully processed. Saturdays, Sundays and weekday Canadian holidays should not be factored into the delivery time as they are not business days. Delivery may take longer during our busy holiday season.
Q. What is the policy on returning Educational Insights products?
A.It's important to us that you are 100% satisfied with your purchase from Educational Insights. If you are not satisfied with your recent purchase, simply return it to us within 365 days of purchase in unopened or original condition (excludes clearance items) and we will gladly replace it or issue a full refund. The choice is yours.

Q. The product I purchased/received is defective. What do I do?
A. If you received a defective Educational Insights product purchased from a local store, please return the product to the store where it was purchased. They will be happy to assist you.
Where can I learn more about becoming a Educational Insights retailer via a web site or retail store?
A. Please use our Contact Us Form for a listing of appropriate company contact channels including dealer sales.
Q. I am the editor of a blog or website and I’d love to help promote your games and toys. Whom do I contact?
A: We're thrilled that you'd like to work with us. Please go to our Contact Us Section and make sure to select "Marketing Opportunities" as the topic of choice. We will be sure to reach out as soon as possible.
Q. Where can I find product instructions?
A. Instructions to many of our products are available online for printing in our Product Instructions section. If you do not see a specific set of instructions, feel free to contact Educational Insights for further assistance.
Q. Does Educational Insights accept individual donation requests from not-for profit organizations?
A. Due to the high volume of such requests that we receive, we simply do not have the resources to comply with all of them. We do, however, recognize the importance of being a charitable corporate citizen and, to that end, regularly donate to national charities that serve our core audiences - children, parents and teachers (these charities include United Way and other local charities). Through these national charities, our donations are able to reach the greatest number of children and teachers in need.
