I gave this to my 2-year-old nephew and wasn't sure how he would respond to it. I knew his parent's would love it, but I thought it might be too passive for him. Boy…was I wrong! He was so mesmerized by it and really got into placing the pieces onto the chart. He was a little young for everything that can be taught with this product, but I was impressed with how much he simply got into finding the animals and placing them on the chart. His father would count along as each animal was placed. In our highly digitized world, it is nice to see that adorable, hands-on teaching products like this still exist.
