Purchased this for my daughter for Christmas and she and I enjoy it so much. We pretend shop and she is learning to count money! Great toy!

Santa carefully picked this product for my 3 year old son who LOVES it. He has learned all his coins and how much they are worth. This register has made learning fun!

HOWEVER, even though the product was never damaged, dropped or mistreated, the cash register draw sticks and sometimes doesn't open at all. It's hard to enjoy the toy now as it is fustrating to operate.

I would and did recommend this product to a friend but I'm not sure that I would again.

My girls love this product, when my husband and I do our bills they take turns sitting down with us and pretend to pay also. Big brother is a great help too. He shows them cool stuff he wants to buy online and they tally it up. Excellent learning tool and fun to use!

This Learning Resources Cash Register has been on my Grandsons mind since he saw it and played with it at a toy store last year.

It made a great gift for his 5th birthday.
He loves the way the toy talks to him as he scans in the shoppers groceries and weighs the produce. The register actually tells him the value of the coins as he adds them. This is a great teaching toy that I think will 'grow' with him as he gets older.

Learning Resources actually has 2 different toy cash registers, the other one is solar powered and this one takes 3 C batteries. We debated over which one to buy and decided on this one based on comments from other reviewers, and the fact that he actually saw and played with this particular model -- and loved it. You can easily tell the 2 registers apart by looking for the yellow produce scale on the top right hand side of the register -- that's the one we purchased.

The toy appears to be a sturdy design and 'kid-friendly'. If the kids don't push the shut-off button, the register automatically shuts itself off after several minutes of non-use to help save battery life.

I think the toy comes with an ample supply of coins and bills, although I'm sure we will need to purchase a replacement pack of money sometime in the future, this toy gets played with often!!

We love this cash register, 6 year old daughter has played with it for a year! Her friends parents keep asking me about it due to their kids talking about playing with it at our house.

This is a great toy! We purchased it for our 6 year old daughter and she loves it. It has already helped her understand money better. Plus, it is perfect for playing store, which is always fun at our house. I wish I had one when I was her age!

I don't normally do reviews, but I would like to comment on this great product. I've purchased this for my 4 year old. She absolutely loves it and plays with it everyday. She has learned her coins, & concepts of credit cards, coupons, and other issues about paying at a cash register. Also great for older children- niece & nephews- 9, 11 &12 year old also got a kick out of it. Customer service is really great. Wish there were more companies like Learning Resources. THANKS!
