Shelby’s Snack Shack helps kids dig math! Buried in game play are pre-math skills like counting along with fine motor skills when using the Shelby Squeezer to collect the bones. The game is fetching as it begs to be repeated again—repetition is the key to learning for kids and canines both.

This was a great fun game but simple to play and understand. It is great that this is a game my 8 year old can play with my 3 year old niece and they can both have fun.
Perfect Game for the Whole Family

The instructions were easy to follow. The game is about a dog named Shelby and she has buried bones on the beach and needs your help in collecting them. Whoever collects the most bones wins. To play, you spin the first spinner to see if you get to pick up bones, lose your turn because you were sidetracked by chewing on a flip flop, lose bones because of the sneaky seagull, or get to steal someone else's bones! Once you know which action you will be doing, you then spin the spinner to see how many bones you get to get (or lose). You then use the Shelby squeezer to pick the bones up and put in your bowl. The game is so cute to play and it's a great educational game too! Your child can practice counting and early number skills. Also, squeezing the Shelby squeezer helps build their fine motor skills. We absolutely loved it and my son requests to play it daily and neither of us are bored of it yet, it's really cute and a lot of fun! It's a great family board game.**Disclosure: I received the game free of charge in order to do an honest review. My thoughts are 100% my own.**

This game is extremely well made and well thought out. It takes learning numbers to a whole new level. My two-year old enjoys it so much!
Cute game & great for Preschool
I received this to review and I just LOVE it! It's a similar game set up as the Sneaky Snacky Squirrel which is my all-time fav preschool game. It's an adorable game, great for honing on fine motor skills, strengthens counting skills, and great for following directions. No reading is required which makes it great for your youngest players.

Great Game for Siblings

I received this game as a gift for my 5 year old daughter who is getting ready for Kindergarten. It's always fun to play "easy" games with her to practice taking turns, following rules, etc. What I loved about this is that the awesome artwork, pug squeezer, and bones were enough to engage my almost 8 year old son, and it's been great to see them play together! I love that the game is easy enough for my daughter, yet "fun" enough for my son! They've learned more than the simple counting skills--- they're learning to compromise, follow rules, and have fun-- all with a little healthy competition and the CUTE pug-themed squeezers! We LOVE this game! We now have a go-to birthday gift to buy!
Quick and easy fun!

This game is a big hit with my 5 year old girls. The game can be played in about 15 minutes which is perfect for their attention span. It has simple directions so they knew how to play after just one game. It's great to have a game they can play together with or without me. We expanded on the math aspect and they did addition every time they added bones to their bowl (ex. I had 4 bones and added 3. Now how many do I have?). It's a good game for younger children to learn basic counting and number recognition. I highly recommend it!
fun quick game

My son and I had a fun time with this game. It kept his attention but then he wanted to work with higher numbers so instead of 5 we would say 10. The game lasted about 15 minutes which was perfect for my son who can only sit still for about that long. Might be good for younger kids who are learning to count as well.
Fun educational game!

This game is fun, easy to understand, and keeps my son entertained for hours. He is almost three and the rules are easy to understand but it also challanges him to think for himself, count, and take turns. It's a huge hit!
Fun, Educational Game for Preschoolers

I have played this game quite a few times now with my 4 and 6 years olds and they both love it! It is so nice to find a game that is both educational (teaches counting, number identification, fine motor skills, & sportsmanship) and fun. It takes about 10-15 minutes to play, which is perfect for this age group. My girls love pretending they are dogs collecting their bones. What's great is that they are learning at the same time. Would highly recommend this game for any preschooler(and even kindergartener).
