I received this Glow in the Dark Solar System to review from Educational insights. My daughters have a Solar System similar to this product in their school and almost everyday they would point it out to me and tell me they wanted one at home. They are both obsessed with the sky (my youngest is more obsessed) and this is the perfect thing for their room! Not only is it cool to look at, but we can talk about the different planets together which is a plus for me. They love that not only can they see it during the day, but they can also see it at night when the lights are out. I love having glow in the dark things in their room that are not the traditional glow in the dark stars. I like that they will know is around them and I love the tools that make it easy to share our world together. I love that this kit comes with everything you need to set it up too! It made it very easy to put together and looked great once put up. My girls love falling asleep looking at the planets.

Very sad 3.5 year old after realizing this glow in the dark solar system doesn't actually glow in the dark. He also pointed out that You have to tack or tape each planet to your ceiling. And my son pointed out that Saturn was made without rings. Poorly designed all around.

        Comments about Glow-in-the-Dark Solar System:

I received this Glow in the Dark Solar System to review from Educational insights. My son is huge to science type stuff and lately he has been all about the plants! He's also very afraid of the dark. So having a glow in dark solar system is a win all around for him! The thing I liked most that it features proportional Sun and planets. Not only is this solar system really easy to put together, makes learning fun, but it's very sturdy and 8 year old boy proof! He messes with it constantly!

These planets and the Sun are a great educational tool for schools and at the home. I love that the sun glows in the dark and it is really helpful in teaching about the planets and the solar system!

I gave it as a gift to my young grandson who is very interested in the planets. His parents assembled it easily and it is on his bedroom ceiling. He loves it! He especially likes that the planet Pluto is still included. That is important to him! He looks forward to having the mobile in his room each night. I am very glad I got it for him!

              Comments about Glow-in-the-Dark Solar System:

I was provided with this product in exchange for a review but opinions are my own.

My children love this solar system and how it glows!

The planets are made very well and I loved how we could hang them however we wanted (straight line, group, etc.). At first we were confused which planet was which since some look very similar, but the symbols on the bottom of each planet allowed us to match them to the paper diagram.

I didn't expect the extra educational info on the planets, so that was a nice surprise.

                Comments about Glow-in-the-Dark Solar System:

I put this in my son's bedroom. He loves that it glows in the dark! We've had a similar solar system in the past, but it was made of very flimsy plastic, barely glowed at all, and didn't come with any string or fishing line to hang it. This one came with all the supplies, was quick and easy to hang, plus it comes with a paper booklet about the planets.
My only con is the planet Earth looks almost solid white instead of the green/blue expected. I attribute this to the cloud/atmosphere around Earth, plus they wanted to leave enough yellowish areas showing on each planet so they would glow. This is very minor in my opinion.
I received this solar system in exchange for giving an honest review of the product.

This product was easy to use and the planets labeled by their astronomical signs. Ours did come with a guide with instructions on how to use it. It also came with cleat fishing wire to hang on the ceiling. We did have to purchase tacks so it would of been nice if they would include tacks in the box so it is a all ready to go activity. My son wanted over his bed and he was really excited when he turned off the light and went to bed and they were all glowing bright.

I received the Geosafari Glow-In-The-Dark Solar System for free in order to give a honest review. All opinions are 100% my own. My 3 year old daughter loves this very much. I am going to hang it up inside of her bookshelf for her. I had a little trouble identifying the planets while setting it up. Luckily the planets have the symbols on the bottom and I matched them up by using the booklet for help. My daughter knows the names to all of her planets and so she really enjoys looking at it. My only real complaint is that it does not glow as well I was hoping, especially the sun. I charged it up with a bright flashlight and the sun only seems to glow for a brief moment. My daughter does not seem to mind at all. The planets are all very tiny, but I am not complaining about that because I like that it is very compact and looks great in a child's room. My daughter thinks it is fantastic, and if she does, so do I :)
