Special Markets Key Accounts Sales Rep
The Special Market- Key Account Sales Manager will be proven sales professional with vision and experience in Account development, work with VP on implementing growth programs with top customers and develop new business for Special markets. They will interact with our internal support departments, ability to harness positive collaboration within the team. The primary focus of this role is to grow sales within our core customer base as well as help identify and grow new areas of revenue. The Sales Manager should have sales management experience with in the Toy/Publishing or consumer related industries. Looking for someone with strong recent experience on secondary accounts like: Walmart, Sam's Club, Meijer, CVS ,Burlington Coat and etc.
Scope and Core Responsibilities:
Sales and Relationship Management
Daily interaction with all portions of our customers contacts from purchasing, sales, merchandising, planning, and supply chain.
Develop and look for new avenues of business within our current customers.
Sales prospecting and researching at retail areas of potential growth and market opportunity.
Weekly contact with Key Accounts.
Work with independent sales reps as required within the industry.
Work with internal departments to prepare sales presentations.
Be proactive to customers' needs and growth opportunities.
Assist with the internal team with the dot com and OEM business.
Customer sales presentations
Detailed sales review with VP
Experience and Skill Sets Preferred:
5-10 years of professional sales experience- Toy industry a plus
Experience with durable goods/children products
Strong written and oral communication skills
Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office applications (specifically Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
